Dominion of Frankfort – Grand Opening

Our team members and a resident at Dominion of Frankfort’s ribbon-cutting ceremony

In September, Dominion celebrated the opening of its newest assisted living and memory care facility in Frankfort, Kentucky with a fall festival featuring a barbecue, tours and a showcase of activities and events. A ribbon cutting took place with Mayor William May, Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Carmen Inman and Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce Member Services Director Suzy Hosley.

Dominion Senior Living of Frankfort, the first Dominion community in Frankfort, will be home to 84 residents. The community will offer assistance with activities of daily living, as well as specific care and programs for seniors dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory impairments.

“Our top priority is creating a home with a compassionate atmosphere, and we’re preparing in every way possible to exceed expectations of residents in the Frankfort area,” said Mark Taylor, president of Dominion Senior Living. “Our mission is focused on making each day meaningful for our residents.”

The organization focuses on creating communities designed around meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of senior adults, and fulfills that mission by using the most up-to-date technology and tools available in the industry.

Dominion Senior Living of Frankfort will use an electronic health records system that allows nurses the ability to access or update a resident’s medical records in real time. A specially designed nurse call system will alert staff on their mobile devices if a resident needs assistance. Staff will also be able to track daily activities through a dedicated app.

Monthly rental rates without a length-of-stay commitment will include three home-style meals a day, laundry service, transportation services, wireless, around-the-clock surveillance monitoring, life enrichment programs, on-site medical assistance, and therapy services.
