Mrs. Mary chose Clover Hill as her home almost two years ago and her stories of growing up in The United Kingdom told in her thick British accent never fail to fascinate her audience. She met her late husband, James while he was stationed in Britain during World War II. She fell in love, married and moved to the United States with him after the war. They lived in the LaFollette area for 75 years raising two children. In addition to her storytelling, Mary loves gardening, knitting, painting, square dancing and horseback riding.
