Offering one-on-one Supportive Conversation to Families of our Memory Care Residents
Over the years, Dominion Senior Living has consistently looked for and researched new and helpful ways to support the families of residents who suffer from the storms of memory loss. The Dominion leadership team, in collaboration with Dr. Ron Harvard, and after months of planning are excited to launch this new program – Alzheimer’s Support Services, for our families.
A FREE service to the family members we serve! It includes a teleconference or voice call where Dr. Harvard can listen to the history and daily challenges that you and your loved one are going through and relate those concerns and feelings to his twenty years of caregiving for his wonderful wife Linda. A special calendar is provided for you to schedule your time with Dr. Harvard.

ABOUT Dr. Ron Harvard
“My introduction to Alzheimer’s was personal and very painful. In the fall of 2003, I noticed that my wife, Linda, with whom I pastored the majority of our adult lives, was displaying very mild symptoms of memory loss. On October 1, 2018, she became a resident of The Harbor at Legacy Village of Cleveland, and passed away on May 23, 2023.
My struggles and victories are chronicled in my blog, Dementia: Walking Victoriously through the “Long Goodbye.” During this ordeal, two things became very clear to me: My academic background was being greatly enhanced by on-the-job training, and secondly, God was preparing me, in the final chapter of my life, to minister to the families of Memory Care residents.
I began conversing with and supporting other family members at Legacy Village of Cleveland in 2019. Also, I hosted a monthly support group for other family members, team members, and community leaders who found themselves going through the same heartbreak and desperation that I had been through.
It has been an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to meet so many fellow travelers.”

Tuesday & Thursday 12pm – 3pm
