Flag Dedication Ceremony at Clover Hill Senior Living
Amvets Post 22 in Maryville provided a flagpole and American flag to Clover Hill Senior Living in Maryville. The ceremony took place Saturday morning, April 14, with many community leaders present, including Blount County Mayor Ed Mitchell, Blount County Sheriff James Berrong, state Rep. Bob Ramsey and Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp.
The AFJROTC unit from William Blount High School unfolded and raised the flag at the facility. There are presently nine veterans who reside there. The flag had flown over the White House.
