Knoxville, Tenn. (Feb. 2024) — Dominion Senior Living announces Steve Casper as Regional Director of Operations serving communities in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Casper’s experience in the senior living industry began in 1992 as an LPN after serving in the United States Army. Casper connected with the residents he cared for so much that he decided to further his education at Thomas More University and Xavier University to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. After attaining his degree, he was promoted over the course of several years to Regional Director of Operations, Director of Operations, and later to Acting COO at Deaconess Long Term Care.
From there, Casper joined Brookdale Senior Living as District Director. He most recently spent the past five years at Grace Management as Senior Regional Director of Operations, which oversaw multiple state regions.
“After an extensive search for this position, when we met Steve, we knew he was our choice. His strong clinical and operational skills, along with his caring nature, perfectly suited him for this role,” states Doug Veazey, COO of Dominion.
Casper’s career has been highlighted by his desire to lead by example, with integrity and through servant leadership, and he lives by the principle of treating others as he would like to be treated: with compassion and respect. He hopes that his leadership at Dominion Senior Living will inspire each team member to go above and beyond in their service to the Greatest Generation.
Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Casper and his wife of over 30 years, Tammy, now live in Mason, Ohio. Together they have three grown children, Danielle, William and Phillip, two grandsons, Gunner and Archie, and a Cavachon named Jack. Casper loves sports, traveling and spending time with his grandsons. Casper continues to serve in the United States Army Reserves as a Colonel. He is the commander of the Southeast Medical Area Readiness Group headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
