Knoxville, Tenn. (Feb. 2024) — Dominion Senior Living welcomes Stacey Swinney to the position of Regional Director of Operations. In this role, Swinney will serve assisted living and memory care communities in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
Swinney attributes her appreciation for family and for providing compassionate care and support for the elderly to her South Dakotan upbringing, as she grew up among eight siblings in a blended family. When she entered into the senior living industry approximately 19 years ago, she made a promise to her grandparents that she would try to treat every elderly individual with the same respect that she treats them. Swinney takes that strong sense of family and incorporates it daily into providing exceptional care and support for seniors.
“After partnering with Stacey on several senior living projects in the past, it was apparent her gifts of compassion, coaching and servant leadership helped her drive operational excellence. We are thrilled to welcome Stacey to the Dominion family,” stated Doug Veazey, Dominions’s COO.
A nineteen-year veteran of the senior living industry, she attended Brigham Young University and Intercontinental University where she graduated with a Health Administration degree. Swinney is involved in the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Board, is certified as a Dementia Practitioner and is a trainer for Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Swinney’s greatest joy comes from being a mother to Staisha, Christine, Kelsey, Elizabeth and Steven, and a YaYa (grandmother) to four grandchildren. In her free time, Swinney enjoys running, golfing, hiking, playing pickleball and traveling. She has spent time in nearly every state except Alaska, Hawaii and Oregon, but she hopes to make it there soon.
Dominion Senior Living is looking forward to Stacey’s leadership as we continue to provide quality, compassionate care to the communities.
