Julie Truett Promoted to Assistant Director of Human Resources

LEGACY SENIOR LIVING ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF JULIE TRUETT TO ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES 

Cleveland, TN. (Dec. 2024) — Legacy Senior Living has promoted Julie Truett to Assistant Director of Human Resources for Legacy and Dominion Senior Living. Truett started with Dominion Group in 2019 as Human Resources Coordinator before she moved to the senior living sector as the Human Resources Generalist in 2020 and then to Human Resources Manager in 2021. Now, as Assistant Director of Human Resources, she will work closely with the Vice President of HR to finetune company standards, processes, employee recruitment, and benefits. 

Originally from Beavercreek, Ohio, Truett attended Ohio State for two years before transferring to the University of Texas in San Antonio to finish her degree in Personnel and Human Resources Management. After raising her children, Truett ran a business called County Stencils before holding several administerial positions. In February 2024, Truett earned her SHRM-CP, Certified Human Resources Professional Credential. 

“I was drawn to Dominion because of their Christian values and their mission statement, ‘Honoring God through Service to Seniors.’ I loved that I would have the opportunity to minister to others through my work at Dominion and now Legacy Senior Living as well,” said Truett.

Truett and her husband of 30 years, Patrick, now live in Knoxville, Tennessee, with their Golden Doodle. She loves spending as much time as she can with her husband and two children, Ben and Megan. She enjoys spending time at the lake, reading and attending Bible Study.
