Our Life Enrichment director, Mitzie has put together an amazing calendar full of fun and educational things to do. Today several residents joined us in going to the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore followed by lunch at Pizzeria Venti. Our residents loved seeing the Featured Exhibit, “The Story of Sequoyah” and learning about how Sequoyah created the Cherokee writing system. If you haven’t been, you should definitely check it out!
